Oban and summer is here?

Thank goodness we picked the second week of the Easter holidays to head north to Ledaig near Oban। The skies were blue as the whole area basked in the sun throughout the week। The winds were mostly gentle and fantastic for paddling in the morning and early afternoon। One of the benefits of staying at the caravan is that you can choose when to paddle। We have been up in this area in summer and have had colder weather। We had to keep reminding ourselves that it was late Spring. Hope you enjoy the pics.
Looking north from the Lynn of Lorn towards Appin and further on Lingairloch hills.Lunch break, and the opportunity to take time and absorb the beauty and tranquillity of this wonderful area.
The southern end of Lismore in the foreground, and the Island of Mull in the distance.
Kelp and the views north.
It doesn’t get any better than this.
Oban.

The Mull ferry leaves from Oban.
Landing north east of Oban: Rubha-aird, Ardmucknish Bay. The view south.
In the distance Tralee sands at Benderloch.
The west shore between Ledaig and Tralee sands.
Sunset from Connel, Mull and Morvern in the background.
A subdued Connel Bridge.
